**Overview**
The Supply Register is a leading education recruitment agency providing high-quality teaching staff to schools across Kent.
We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team working with children aged 2-19 with special educational needs at Milestone Academy in Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
You will be working on a daily supply and short-term supply basis, supporting pupils with a range of needs and assisting teachers with learning activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs.
- Basic technology skills within an education setting.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security, equal opportunities, and confidentiality.
- Able to relate well to children and adults, understanding their needs and responding accordingly.
- Good influencing skills to encourage pupils to interact with others and be socially responsible.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one.
**Salary:** £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits.
