Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, housing standards, and public health legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of food businesses to ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate complaints and take enforcement action where necessary.
  • Work with food businesses to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Provide guidance and support to food businesses on food safety and health and safety best practices.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve our goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or a related field.
  • Registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board.
  • Proven experience in Environmental Health, with a focus on food safety and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
