Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, housing standards, and public health legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of food businesses to ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Investigate complaints and take enforcement action where necessary.
- Work with food businesses to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Provide guidance and support to food businesses on food safety and health and safety best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or a related field.
- Registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board.
- Proven experience in Environmental Health, with a focus on food safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
