Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of our customers' lifting equipment, primarily overhead gantry cranes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
- Trouble-shoot equipment breakdowns.
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
- Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent in electrical engineering disciplines.
- Conversant with mechanical knowledge.
- Previous experience working with overhead cranes and hoists is an asset.
- Based on 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime working earning double time.
- Good command of the English language.
- Personable with regular customer contact.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights.
- Willingness to work extra hours, attracting paid overtime.
- Current driving license.
- Willingness to work on the on-call rota with enhanced premium.
