Senior Business Support Specialist

The Role
A highly skilled Senior Business Support Specialist at Teneo plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional administrative support to senior business leaders. This involves managing complex calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and ensuring seamless execution of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior executives with client-facing tasks, including administrative, presentation, and research support.
- Manage complex diaries, anticipating calendar changes and responding accordingly.
- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements, considering senior executives' priorities.
- Schedule internal and external meetings, organize project meetings, and book meeting rooms and catering as needed.
- Perform additional administrative tasks, including filing, document management, and maintaining records.
Business Development
- Assist with pitch preparation and associated tasks, as well as marketing and events.
- Support operational aspects of the executive role, such as project setup, letters of engagement, and credentials/pitch decks.
- Be flexible and adaptable in taking on new tasks or supporting other areas of the business.

- Create a positive and professional atmosphere, focused on pre-empting issues and being solutions-focused.
- Be committed and enthusiastic, creating an environment that is client-centric and reflects Teneo's focus on clients.
- Hold key relationships with counterparts at client offices and build knowledge of key clients.
- Demonstrate a collegiate and collaborative style, actively getting to know peers across the consultancy.
- Manage business-sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Support best practice agile working and be flexible with days/times in the office to ensure effective support for senior executives and their teams.
- Support other EAs/PAs during times of leave or sickness and create a mature, supportive environment for the wider support team.
- Lead by example, demonstrating teamwork with colleagues and participating in support team meetings or events.
Actively learn/contributes to the business
- Be detail-oriented and deliver high-quality, client-ready work.
- Have advanced knowledge of the Teneo brand, quality guidelines, IT systems, and administrative processes.
- Have excellent Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook skills and experience in producing high-quality documents, PowerPoint decks, and Excel databases.
- Take an advisory role on company policies and procedures and have in-depth knowledge of business practices, leadership teams, and specialist skills.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Support a learning culture and play an active role in sharing knowledge and insight, as well as attending relevant training and events.
