Health and Safety Manager

A highly motivated and experienced HSEQ Manager is required to join our client's team in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, quality management, and environmental sciences, with experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage HSEQ across all levels of the business.
Key responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations, managing training and reports on HSEQ performance, and ensuring quality management systems and environmental management systems are maintained to ISO standards. The successful candidate will also be required to liaise with regulatory bodies and stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practice.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced HSEQ professional who is passionate about health, safety, and environmental management, and who is committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification or equivalent level Health and Safety qualification and/or higher Degree in Health and Safety, Degree in Quality Management, or Degree Environmental Sciences
- IOSH member and CertIOSH Certification required (other IOSH, IEMA, CQI advantageous)
- Good ISO management experience and knowledge of HSQE legislation and ISO standards
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and passion for HSEQ and continuous improvement
- Internal and external Audit experience (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle to get to remote industrial site daily
