Health and Safety Manager

A highly motivated and experienced HSEQ Manager is required to join our client's team in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to further develop their Health and Safety career in a stable and rewarding company that champions best practice and continuous improvement.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and managing HSEQ management systems and ISO standards within a manufacturing, production, construction, hire plant, machinery industry or similar. This includes conducting risk assessments, action plans, audits, investigations, managing training, and reporting on HSEQ performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HSEQ management systems and ISO standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and action plans to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Manage training programs to ensure employees are aware of HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification or equivalent level Health and Safety qualification and/or higher Degree in Health and Safety, Degree in Quality Management or a Degree in Environmental Sciences or equivalent level experience.
- Good ISO management experience and knowledge of HSQE legislation and ISO standards ISO9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle to get to remote industrial site daily.
