About the Role

Mckinlay Law is looking for a skilled Construction Paralegal to assist our partners and consultants with their construction-related matters.

Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation of Legal Documents: Draft and review construction documents, including letters of intent, contracts, consultancy appointments, warranties, and security documents.
  2. Court Filings: Prepare, file, and serve statements of case, court bundles, and other submissions in adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and other proceedings.
  3. Legal Research: Conduct basic legal research and prepare concise research notes to support partners and consultants.
  4. Document Organisation: Ensure the proper management of documents, including organising and uploading documentation, and ensuring that documents are properly bundled, indexed, and stored.
  5. Quality Assurance: Check and proof-read legal documents for quality, consistency, and content.
  6. Administrative Tasks: Assist with the administration of matters, including preparing client care letters, time recording, billing, and engaging third parties such as Counsel and expert witnesses.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
