Co-ordinator for Sustainable Development Job Description

We are seeking a Co-ordinator for Sustainable Development to join our team at The Riverside Group. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development and implementation of our sustainability objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the research, development, and implementation of actions, processes, and projects that contribute to our environmental sustainability goals. You will work closely with our team to ensure the achievement of our sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies.
  • Support the research and analysis of opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations for action.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and inform decision-making.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and support on sustainability matters.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant academic qualification and experience in construction, renewables, sustainability, or housing.
  • Personal commitment to diversity, treating others with dignity and respect, with a real desire to understand and meet diverse customer needs and aspirations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Academic or working knowledge of at least two of the sustainability areas listed above.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,484 (£28,003 after 12 months). This is a permanent position based in London, UK, and we offer a hybrid working pattern.
