Overview:

As a Procurement Specialist in Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Procurement, you will play a crucial role in enhancing productivity, quality, and digital innovation to advance clean energy solutions. Your expertise will guide critical initiatives and negotiations to secure advantageous contracts. You will be responsible for fostering strong supplier relationships, analyzing market trends, and implementing cost-saving strategies. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with evolving requirements while driving performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop negotiation plans, establish awarding strategies, and prepare sourcing board approvals, in line with the commodity strategy.
  • Negotiate contracts at local, regional, or multi-site levels, addressing pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Contribute to the EcoSystem commodity strategy and create a preferred supplier business listing.
  • Manage relationships with assigned suppliers, ensuring alignment with commodity management.
  • Support supplier segmentation and represent customer perspectives in Commodity Circles.
  • Analyze market trends to inform commodity strategies.
  • Identify customer needs and support the sourcing process.
  • Monitor supplier performance and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Document and implement cost-saving measures while tracking key performance indicators.
  • Encourage early supplier involvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Identify procurement risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate measures.
  • Collaborate with strategic commodity management to address contractual items.
  • Implement commodity strategies and define local/regional material strategies for non-pooled commodities.

Experience & Skills:

  • Extensive experience in a complex, evolving global organizational environment.
  • Over 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
  • Exceptional Excel proficiency.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills.
  • Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with component manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Experience working with a global supplier base in a matrix structure.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
