About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join our Training Transformation team at Raytheon UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in setting up and supporting our new workstream, working closely with our partners and the MOD to deliver a new way of working for training transformation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support agile teams in daily agile activities, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Work with the supplier agile project manager and technical leads to create inputs and support agile ceremonies, including PI planning and sprint showcases.
  • Support the team in creating stories and acceptance criteria, and deputise for the programme manager as needed.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers in joint management boards, and implement PMX best practice to instil flawless programme execution behaviours and processes.
  • Sustain collaborative relationships with peers within the Customer, strategic Partners, Suppliers, and across Raytheon, consistent with the programme, programme element, or pursuit shared vision.
Requirements
  • Experience of working on agile programmes, with relevant, recent demonstrable experience of successful programme execution in a highly regulated and/or controlled environment.
  • Demonstrate and advocate Raytheon leadership behaviours, and be a self-starting and capable manager, able to effect change through the matrix organisation.
  • Supportive, with the character to navigate sensitive and pressurised situations to overcome delivery challenges, and able to engage with technical experts with credibility and understanding.
  • Drive to create change and continuously improve performance, and be creative and open to innovation in order to solve problems.
