Clinical Administrative Assistant

About the Job: We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team at Christchurch Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient secretarial, administrative and reception support for the team.
Main Duties:
- Provide administrative and reception support for the team
- Liaise with members of the public and a variety of professionals in primary and secondary care services
- Manage the workload of the Community Mental Health Team
- Use Microsoft Office to its full capacity
- Deal with difficult patients through excellent communication skills
- Keep RIO, the Trust's patient record system, up to date
Person Specification:
- ECDL or equivalent
- Excellent and demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office suite and use of the Internet
- Qualifications in Typing/Word Processing equivalent to RSA Level III typing/word processing
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience of taking and transcribing minutes
- Previous NHS experience
