About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at VIVID Housing. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of our communal grounds areas, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and border maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a high standard of grounds work, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and border maintenance
  • Operate a variety of equipment, machines, and materials to maintain our grounds areas
  • Work at heights, manual handling, and lifting heavy and bulky items
  • Have a high degree of mobility, including walking, lifting, loading, and unloading vehicles

Requirements

  • Full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) to drive one of our vans when needed
  • Good knowledge and experience in grounds maintenance
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment, machines, and materials
