Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our Regional Energy Transitions research team as an analyst based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking primary research and analysis on the European energy transition, producing written reports, presentations, tools, and other products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the European energy transition, including energy markets and policy drivers.
  • Develop and implement market-leading insights, including data sets, scenarios, and tools.
  • Produce high-quality written reports, presentations, and other products that effectively communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures to deliver exceptional results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the energy industry and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge or demonstrated interest in the energy industry, including energy markets and policy drivers.
  • University degree in a scientific, engineering, economics, or humanities discipline.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, including writing, reading, and speaking.
  • Confidence and accuracy conducting numerical analysis and familiarity with working effectively with data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship and/or work experience in the energy, commodities, finance industries.
  • Knowledge of energy markets or decarbonization technologies and policies.
  • Experience with data projects, querying, and working with large databases.
  • Speaking/writing ability in at least one non-English language.
