Job Title: Senior Community and Events Fundraising Manager

Mencap is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community and Events Fundraising Manager to join their Northern Ireland team.

About the Role

This is a full-time hybrid working position, requiring at least 2 days a week in our Belfast office, with frequent travel across Northern Ireland and occasional travel to London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Community and Events fundraising across Northern Ireland, as well as directly managing Digital Fundraising activity, Special Events, and Corporate fundraising.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of income generation and budget management, as well as experience of developing successful national fundraising portfolios. They will be able to create effective and sustainable fundraising strategies, working closely with the NI Communication & Marketing Team to develop overarching fundraising Marcoms plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all Community and Events fundraising across Northern Ireland
  • Directly manage Digital Fundraising activity, Special Events, and Corporate fundraising
  • Develop and implement effective and sustainable fundraising strategies
  • Work closely with the NI Communication & Marketing Team to develop overarching fundraising Marcoms plans
  • Manage budgets and ensure accurate reporting
