Senior Community and Events Fundraising Manager

About the Role
Mencap is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community and Events Fundraising Manager to join their Northern Ireland team. As a key member of the fundraising team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Community and Events fundraising across Northern Ireland and developing effective fundraising strategies to drive growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve targets and drive growth
- Manage and oversee all Community and Events fundraising activities across Northern Ireland
- Work closely with the NI Communication & Marketing Team to develop overarching fundraising Marcoms plans
- Accountable for the delivery and reporting of all budgets and spend for NI
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners and community groups
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of income generation and budget management
- Experience of developing successful national fundraising portfolios
- Ability to create effective and sustainable fundraising strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Membership of Mencap Pension Plan to include up to 3 times salary death in service live cover AND Income Protection of 50% salary to be triggered at 26 weeks of long term sickness
