Page Personnel Finance is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations within the energy and natural resources industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial transactions and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide assistance in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Participate in financial audits and assist with the resolution of audit findings.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including the preparation of financial models and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the energy and natural resources industry.
- Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to improve financial processes and efficiency.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An approximate salary range of £25k to £28k per annum.
- Generous holiday leave.
