About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Controller to join our Finance team at Danone. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing material costs, analyzing operating performance, and identifying risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the business during the planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and period-end close.
  • Analyze price variances, material losses, and production volumes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively review and analyze operating performance versus plan to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Manage material cost journals and accruals based on knowledge of the business.
  • Produce monthly management reports for material costs.
  • Calculate cost prices of finished goods and transfer prices.
  • Support in costings for trials and new product business cases.
  • Support preparation of financial analyses for investment decisions.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent data management skills, expert MS Excel skills, and excellent communication skills. You should have a degree and be part-qualified accountant or studying CIMA or equivalent. You should also have a collaborative team working approach, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
