About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Ivy Education Trust. As a key member of our central team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of key services across our Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Trust Asset Management Plan for land and buildings
  • Support the Trust's goal of carbon neutrality by 2030
  • Manage capital allocations effectively to support school improvements
  • Collaborate with the Catering Manager to ensure quality food services
  • Oversee Health & Safety compliance across all Trust sites
  • Conduct and review risk assessments to ensure a safe learning environment
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and stakeholders
  • Deputise for the DPO and assist with data protection matters

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a strategic thinker with experience in managing operations, particularly within a fast-paced and changing environment. You will have:

  • A degree or equivalent senior-level experience
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams through change
  • Strong experience managing Health & Safety culture
  • Effective budget management and cost forecasting skills
  • Exceptional communication and organisational abilities
  • A full driving license and willingness to travel regularly
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Health & Safety qualification
  • Experience in preparing and managing contracts
  • Familiarity with accounting software
