We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Facilities Team and ensure best practice and cost-effective solutions in accordance with corporate safety directives and facility policies and procedures.
  • Undertake facility improvements and repairs, and coordinate external contractors to ensure adherence to contractor control procedure.
  • Monitor and manage facility service contracts, raise purchase orders, and plan and implement facility improvements as aligned with Lear's Energy Efficiency Playbook.
  • Develop and manage a preventative program, manage projects, and submit PAR & CAPEX costs for any facility projects.
  • Monitor and manage energy usage, ensure facility compliance to Lear's directives and site procedures, and lead quarterly Kaizen/improvement projects.
  • Respond to any Quality/facility investigations and provide support to the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance team where applicable.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Project and contractor management, skilled in overseeing projects and coordinating with contractors.
  • Holds an advanced Level 3 safety certification (IOSH Managing Safety).
  • Experienced in managing facilities and optimizing resources, with Facilities Management Level 3.
  • Good communicator and demonstrates cooperative teamwork.
