About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on light and heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
  • Use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Work on a flexible shift rota, including early, late, and night shifts, as well as Saturday working.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain high working standards and ensure the job is done effectively.

Requirements

  • Qualified mechanic with an IMI Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working on a wide range of vehicles, including LCV and HGV.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • High working standards and ability to work on a flexible shift rota.
