About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on light and heavy goods vehicles
  • Use personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair tasks
  • Access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops
  • Work on a flexible shift rota to meet service demands
Requirements
  • Qualified mechanic with IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent
  • Varied vehicle experience working on a wide range of vehicles, including LCV/HGV
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • High working standards and ability to work effectively
  • Flexible to service demands and willing to support team where necessary
