About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a Lifting Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting repairs on various types of lifting equipment, performing thorough inspections and testing, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs on lifting equipment, including mechanical and electrical components, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspection and Testing: Perform regular inspections and testing of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER regulations and other relevant standards.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A LEEA qualification is highly desirable, but not essential. Relevant experience and training will be considered.
  • Experience: Experience in the lifting equipment industry is advantageous, but exposure to mechanical and electrical engineering is essential.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for travel to client sites and operational needs.
