About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a national leader in providing lifting and safety equipment, our client prides themselves on developing their people and fostering a successful, growing company with a family feel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Conduct thorough repairs and maintenance on various types of lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspection and Testing: Perform regular inspections and testing of lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and other relevant regulations.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Requirements for Success
  • Qualifications: A LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Experience in the lifting equipment sphere is advantageous, but exposure to mechanical/electrical engineering is essential.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for travel to client sites and operational needs.
