Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
We are looking for experienced Crane Operators to join our team. As an Offshore Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment. You will work from the UK, based from home on a flying-squad basis, and receive full training and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment, onshore and offshore
  • Repairs and inspection of electrical equipment and systems
  • Fault finding and repairs of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems
  • Commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client mechanical equipment, onshore and offshore
  • Assist with spares identification and procurement
  • Produce clear factual documented reports
  • Rigging and lift planning
  • Comply with site HSEQ requirements
  • Work safely with all site staff to ensure a safe working environment
  • Minimise environmental risks when undertaking tasks

Requirements:
  • Experience in the offshore/marine crane industry
  • Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • In-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance on offshore cranes
  • BOSIET certified and IT literate
  • Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
  • Leadership/supervisory experience
  • Experience working with marine engineering applications

Benefits and Remuneration:
A competitive daily wage while on retainer, daily per diem while deployed on a job (200 days average), pension, private healthcare benefits, training, medical, and ticket costs covered by the company, and 50% of per diem for travel days.
