Job Title: Store Leader - Vision Care

Health Care Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Leader to lead our Vision Care store. As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, experience in managing a team, and a proven track record in driving business performance.

Salary: £23,500 - £29,500 per annum

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and drive business growth through exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring the store operates efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and developing staff to achieve their full potential. Key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:
  • To ensure store efficiency and compliance with organisational procedures
  • To ensure total customer satisfaction with products and services
  • To be an effective leader, motivating, supporting, training and developing staff
  • To realise the full potential of the store with regard to patient numbers and sales targets
  • To achieve maximum profitability
  • To be responsible for quality control in all areas
  • To manage stock control
  • To maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store
  • To be responsible for health and safety standards across the store
  • Working with the Marketing Dept. to maximise marketing effectiveness at a local level
  • To drive cost efficiencies
  • Dispensing spectacles to prescriptions

Personal Specification - Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Previous management experience would be desirable, or a proven track record of developing and supporting staff
  • Strong background in customer service
  • Experience of driving business performance such as sales, customer satisfaction and cost efficiencies
  • Strong leader, able to motivate and engage with staff at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to put the customer first and act in a professional manner in all situations, able to act with tact and discretion
  • Positive and outgoing
  • Flexibility – able to be flexible on days worked and provide cover to other practices
  • Well-presented and professional
  • Attention to detail
