HPC Specialist Wanted for Global Hedge Fund

We are seeking an experienced HPC Specialist to join our team at Stanford Black Limited, a technology-centric global hedge fund with a London HQ.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building out distributed, performant Linux infrastructure with competency around storage, containerization, and network optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance computing solutions for our global server estate
  • Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure Linux infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reduce latency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working in a Linux-based HPC environment
  • Deep understanding of performant distributed systems engineering
  • Strong experience with storage, networking, containerization, and Kubernetes
  • Python scripting experience
