HPC Specialist Wanted for Global Hedge Fund

We are seeking a highly skilled HPC Specialist to join our team at Stanford Black Limited, a technology-centric global hedge fund with a strong presence in London.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and managing large-scale distributed systems, with a focus on high-performance computing and Linux-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance computing solutions for mission-critical projects
  • Develop and maintain large-scale distributed systems, including storage, containerization, and network optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HPC and distributed systems engineering

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Linux-based HPC environments
  • Strong understanding of storage, networking, containerization, and Kubernetes
  • Deep knowledge of performant distributed systems engineering
  • Python scripting experience
