About the Job:


Oncology Nursing Specialist


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and leadership for the plan of care, prioritizing tasks, and delegating responsibilities to other healthcare team members.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensuring client/family unit participation in developing, implementing, and modifying the plan of care;
  • Establishing therapeutic relationships through effective communication and interviewing techniques;
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery;
  • Discussing referral information with clients and other health team members and initiating referrals as needed.

This is a casual opportunity with Interior Health, offering flexibility and opportunities for growth.
