About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Electrical Fitter / SAP to join our team at Samuel Knight International. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality electrical solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining transformers and switchgear across various client sites in the UK, working with HV, LV, transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment. They will prepare detailed quality reports and daily site reports, conduct electrical testing and fault finding, execute mechanical modifications and repairs, and perform routine PPM according to manufacturer standards.

Requirements
  • BTEC in Electrical Engineering
  • Thorough understanding of electrical power systems up to 33KV
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of transformers
  • Operational experience as a HV Electrical Fitter
  • Ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Maintain high standards of work on client sites
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Must be eligible for SC/CTC clearance and DBS check
  • Possess a full UK driving license
