Job Summary

This role will involve providing clinical support to our nursing team, working closely with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with wound care, dressings, and suture removals
  • Conduct ECGs, venepuncture, and BP measurements
  • Participate in NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments
  • Deliver health promotion and education programs
  • Administer B12 injections and influenza vaccinations under guidance
  • Chaperone and assist patients as needed
  • Support GPs with minor surgery and routine tasks
Person Specification:

Desirable qualifications include experience in nursing care and primary care settings. A strong foundation in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE grades A-C) is essential. Qualifications in phlebotomy and other areas of clinical expertise are desirable.

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary (£28,000 - £35,000 per annum), dependent on experience, plus benefits including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
