Head of Quality Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Quality to lead our quality management system and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.

As the Head of Quality, you will be responsible for providing quality direction and oversight for the formulation and process development activities of our products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and refining the quality management system to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with GMP regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and managing QC processes.
  • Approving and rejecting materials, maintaining rigorous validation systems, and staff training.
  • Addressing and escalating key quality issues, overseeing complaint resolution, and implementing KPIs.
  • Staying informed on regulatory changes, managing technical documentation, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance and support new product development.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree in a pharmaceutical or scientific related field.
  • Proven industry experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, with a minimum of 5 years experience leading teams or departments.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of drug development processes and Global Regulatory Requirements and regulations related to GxP.
