We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Auditor to join our Bank as an Associate Internal Auditor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable NHS shared services consortium, providing high-quality assurance, advisory, and continuous improvement services to primarily NHS clients.

As an Associate Internal Auditor, you will be part of a friendly team that values flexibility, innovation, and inclusivity. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the success of our clients.

The role involves working on a flexible basis, both at client sites across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire and via remote working from home. You may also be required to work in, or travel to, other localities on occasion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality internal audit services to our clients, ensuring that their internal controls and risk management processes are effective and efficient.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective audit plans.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience in internal audit, preferably in the NHS or a similar sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
