Job Title: Mornings Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working mornings only. The successful candidate will be working closely with a child who has ASD needs, and we are looking for someone who has experience working with SEND children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop activities that cater to the child's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the school SENDCo to gain a deeper understanding of the child's requirements.
  • Set high expectations for the child's success and create a stimulating environment that promotes learning.
  • Manage and support the child's needs, ensuring their well-being and academic progress.
  • Assess and communicate the child's successes and developments to the class teacher and parents.
