We are seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Long Road Nursery, offering an above industry standard salary from £27,232 per annum with annual reviews.

The nursery boasts five spacious rooms and an attached outdoor space with gardens and play areas that the children enjoy regularly.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones.
  • Monitor, track, and reflect on learning, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress.
  • Promote and enforce child welfare, protection, health, and safety policies at all times.
Requirements
  • Holding a relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children is required, ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, or similar role.
  • A passion for creating fun and engaging learning experiences for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents alike.
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
