Nursery Management Assistant Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Deputy Nursery Manager at Blom and Blom. As a member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager and contributing to the overall success of the nursery.

The ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted standards. Experience in managing teams and leading staff is also crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
  • Working closely with the nursery team to create an enabling environment for children to learn and develop.
  • Supervising and reviewing the performance of staff members.
  • Conducting regular evaluations of the nursery's operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior early years practitioner or deputy nursery manager role.
  • A sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
