Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced research nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the haematology research department.
This is a pivotal role that requires excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work unsupervised and under pressure to meet service and patient priorities.
The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate arrangements for patients undergoing specialist investigations, assess patients prior to trial treatment, and monitor patients receiving trial treatment.
The role also involves collecting and accurately recording data in accordance with the requirements of the trial protocol.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NMC registration
- Post-registration experience in a cancer care setting
- BSc/MSc or studying at relevant level
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
In addition, you should have experience as a research nurse/senior staff nurse in oncology nursing and personal and leadership management experience.
