CAMHS Locum Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled CAMHS Locum Psychiatrist to join our team as a locum consultant. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to develop your knowledge, experience, and skills in child and adolescent psychiatry, with a focus on eating disorders.

This 10PA fixed-term post is for 6 months and would be ideal for a psychiatrist interested in specializing in child and adolescent eating disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist care to children and adolescents with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective specialist child adolescent eating disorder care
  • Support delivery of services in accordance with Trust Clinical Governance and NICE guidance policies
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medication
  • Supervise specialty doctors and psychiatric trainees

Requirements:

  • Full GMC Registration & inclusion on Specialist GMC Register (A/I)
  • Completion of Higher Psychiatric Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (A/I)
  • Experience in delivering psychotherapy for eating disorders (A/I)
  • Demonstrated clinical skills in specialist area of eating disorders, autism, OCD, anxiety disorders, and psychopharmacology (A/I)

Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum
