HGV Technician Role Overview
TLP Careers is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s well-established service & maintenance workshop facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any necessary works.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial vehicles.
- Work on a wide range of commercial vehicles, from 7.5t trucks to tractor units.
Working Hours and Shifts:
The HGV Technician will work on a Monday-Friday early/day shift rotation, with overtime opportunities available on Mondays-Saturdays at £31.23 per hour and Sundays & Bank holidays at £41.64 per hour.
Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary of £50,711+ overtime & Bonus, with yearly earnings in the region of £60,000. Additionally, if you work a bank holiday, you will be given an extra day’s holiday in lieu.
