Heavy Vehicle Technician

At TLP, we are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our well-established service and maintenance workshop facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing inspection, service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial vehicles, from 7.5t trucks to tractor units and everything in between.
Daily Duties:
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any works that need undertaking
* Complete all required works identified in the initial inspection
* Ensure all pre-planned maintenance is undertaken in a timely manner
* Undertake MOT inspections along with preparations
* Present fully prepared vehicles for their MOT test if you hold a heavy vehicle driving licence, those that don't have the required licence will be given driver training after a qualifying period
Key Benefits:
* Competitive annual salary of £50,711, with the potential for overtime and bonus payments
* Overtime paid at £31.23 per hour, Monday to Saturday, and £41.64 per hour on Sundays and bank holidays
* Extra day's holiday in lieu for working a bank holiday
