About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Radiology team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our Radiology service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a patient-focused booking service, ensuring that appointments are scheduled efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist the Business Support Manager in the provision of booking radiology appointments, ensuring that national and local targets and protocols are met.
  • Supervise staff on a daily basis, ensuring that staff training and development needs are met and staff adhere to the Trust's required behaviours and policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above, including Maths and English, or an NVQ2 in the relevant subjects.
  • Knowledge and experience of NHS targets is essential, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, together with accuracy and attention to detail, are essential.
  • Good data entry/keyboard skills and a basic understanding of medical terminology are desirable.
