Job Title: Band 6 Recovery Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Recovery Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of the team, ensuring that all patients receive an optimum level of safe, effective care. They will also be responsible for supervision, leading and developing colleagues and nursing practice within I.R.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the team to ensure optimal patient care
  • Supervise and develop colleagues and nursing practice within I.R.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of nursing practice and policies within the department
Requirements:
  • Registered Adult Nurse
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Evidence of post-registration training
  • Recent or previous experience working within an acute care nursing environment
  • Recent or previous experience working within Theatre / scrub or Interventional Radiology
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate good leadership skills
  • Good time management
  • Aseptic scrub skills
  • Cannulation
  • Venepuncture
  • IV drug administration
  • ILS / ALS training
  • ECG recognition
  • Interventional radiology knowledge
  • Recovery skills
  • Audit and research
