Strategic Role at Repton School

We are seeking a Strategic Advisor to join our Governing Body as a Governor (Health and Safety).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the strategic direction of a leading HMC independent school.

The appointed Governor will play a key role in shaping the School's future, working collaboratively with the executive team and Governing Body to drive student success.

Governor responsibilities include:

  1. Contributing to the development and evaluation of the School's long-term strategy.
  2. Providing constructive feedback and guidance to the executive team and Governing Body.
  3. Engaging with school life beyond Board meetings, fostering collaboration with staff and stakeholders.
  4. Ensuring that the School prioritizes pupil well-being and safety.
  5. Working closely with the Board and executive team to implement effective safeguarding practices.

Candidates should be willing to commit to attending School events at least once per term.

Estimated salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
