Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Orthopaedic Fellow to join our team at University College London Hospital. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain comprehensive experience and training in Trauma & Orthopaedics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical and surgical care for patients in the department while in the clinics, in theatre, and on the wards.
  • Work under the supervision of a consultant but will be given the opportunity to undertake clinics and operating lists independently if the appropriate competencies are met.
  • Undertake and manage clinical audits including supervision of junior staff.
  • Use of databases and hospital EPR/CDR/PACS systems to a competent level.

Requirements:

  • Clinical Knowledge commensurate with ST3-4 trauma and orthopaedic surgery training.
  • Proven ability and commitment to carry out high-quality research, leading to publication.
  • The ability to undertake and manage clinical audits including supervision of junior staff.
  • Use of databases and hospital EPR/CDR/PACS systems to a competent level.
