Job Summary:

The Warehouse Returns Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of returned goods, including de-briefing vehicles, inspecting for damages, and communicating with drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • De-briefing and Inspection: De-briefing all returning vehicles to the depot, checking for any damages or safety issues, and reporting any defects.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicating with drivers regarding daily runs, dealing with any issues, and liaising with our vehicle management unit, sub-contractors, and drivers.
  • Inventory Management: Managing VORs (Vehicle On-Road) and downloading camera footage from vehicles and tacho graph machines.

Requirements:

  • Transportation Knowledge: Good understanding of transportation legislation and logistics operations.
  • Communication Skills: Able to build good relationships with people, even under pressure, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to make decisions in the absence of the Depot Manager to drive performance and service, and react quickly to information and solve problems independently.
  • Technical Skills: Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel.
