Job Title: Assistant Psychologist Graduate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist Graduate to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide a high-quality assessment service to individuals who may have a dementia, working under the supervision of an experienced Clinical Psychologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments to aid in diagnosis
  • Work as part of the diagnostic service, providing assessments to individuals with dementia
  • Travel to various locations throughout Nottinghamshire to complete assessments
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills to work with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Psychology degree 2.1 or above
  • Eligible for graduate basis for registration from BPS
  • Previous experience of neuropsychological assessment, preferably in a working-age context
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
