Calibration and Metrology Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Calibration and Metrology Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Staffline Group. As a key member of our Engineering Laboratory, you will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out routine maintenance and calibration of all laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide metrology support for all equipment systems, troubleshooting and rectifying equipment breakdowns.
- Plan and schedule service and calibration engineering visits.
- Carry out routine maintenance and calibration tasks on schedule to ensure that laboratory equipment remains in service and valid for use.
- Coordinate maintenance and collaboration documentation compliance requirements.
- Initiate/upgrade preventive maintenance and calibration process specifications.
- Maintain SOP for instrumentation/metrology.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of instruments, consumables, and spare parts.
- Act as liaison with outside contractors and vendors for equipment repairs or contract maintenance.
Requirements:
- A' Level, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- Experience in calibration and/or maintenance support for a manufacturing company, or equivalent, with demonstrated skills in writing complex calibration SOPs and technical operating procedures.
- Understanding of technical metrology requirements, assisting calibration specifications, coordinating, and monitoring new equipment.
- Demonstrable experience working in a cGMP environment to ISO or FDA regulatory standards is desirable.
- Good planning skills to produce project timelines.
