New Product Development (NPD) Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NPD Chef to join our team at Teamwork Partnership Ltd. As an NPD Chef, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, maintaining food safety and quality standards, optimizing processes, and effectively managing teams to bring new and exciting food products to market successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices in all aspects of new product development processes. Implement safety protocols in the development kitchen and production areas to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Food Safety & Quality: Uphold stringent food safety standards throughout the product development lifecycle to guarantee the safety and integrity of new food products. Work with the Technical department to conduct regular assessments and testing to ensure that both new and existing products continue to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Knowledge and Control: Apply your in-depth process knowledge to develop efficient and scalable production processes for new and existing food products. Monitor and control key process parameters to achieve consistency and quality in product development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and contribute to new product and continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of new and existing product development processes.
  • People Management: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to commercialization. Provide guidance and leadership to key stakeholders, customers, and other relevant individuals involved in the NPD process.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as a Chef
  • 1 year of experience in cooking

Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per year
