Job Opportunity: Chef/Cook - Telford

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef/Cook to join our team at ESS, a leading provider of food services to the Defence sector. As a Chef/Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve our menus and food services, ensuring we meet the evolving tastes and dietary requirements of our clients and customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive brand image through your interactions
  • Contribute to reducing food waste levels and ensuring efficient kitchen operations
  • Support with all kitchen organisation, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Passion for world-class food and customer service
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the Defence sector
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Flexible approach to working, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
