Job Title: Graduate Pastoral Support Worker

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Pastoral Support Worker to join our team at a friendly Secondary School in Northallerton. As a Graduate Pastoral Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's students with behaviour management and ensuring good order is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with behaviour management and provide one-to-one support as needed
  • Help manage the school's on-call system and respond to behaviour incidents
  • Work with students who require additional support to help regulate their behaviour
  • Support class teachers in maintaining good order and ensuring students are on-task during lessons

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in an academic subject from a good UK University
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
  • Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a Secondary School setting
  • Support and training in behaviour management and pastoral care
